Congratulations to all of the participants in the Minnesota Voyageur! We saw lots of smiling faces out along the trail, enjoying the humidity and beautiful mud. Thanks, too, to all of our volunteers.

In 2012 the course was altered to accommodate trail and infrastructure damage due to the June flooding. In 2013, we have returned to a route between Duluth and Carlton, MN. The course is still modified from its traditional route due to ongoing bridge and trail re-construction, but does return to the Carlton High School finish line and encompass most aspects of the course we know and love.
This year’s route offers a nice run through Jay Cooke State Park on the south side of the St. Louis River, a trip across the ridge above Fond du Lac, all the Powerlines goodness you’ve been hoping for – and a trip through the infamous Jarrow’s Beach section over on Elys Peak. The loops are gone from last year and we believe you will find the 2013 course challenging and enjoyable. We’re looking forward to seeing all of you out there!
